2004年的聖誕假期，我跟家人一起去了上海、杭州旅遊。我們在那兒逗留了6天。在短短的6天里，我對上海、杭州已經建立了一個很好的印象。我覺得上海是一個比較商業化的城市，而杭州就比較優柔，風景也很美，非常適合一些退休人士居住。
在上海的3天里，最令我難忘的就是逛了一條著名的商業街———南京路。那條路足足有一公里長，街道上賣的大部分都是一些懷舊的上海小吃。我在那兒嘗了一個豆沙包。
另外，我記得在一間叫「哈根達斯」的冰淇淋店，看到玻璃窗上貼上了它們新推出的巧克力冰淇淋火鍋廣告，很特別。雖然很想試一下那個冰淇淋火鍋的味道，但因為時間關系，天氣又太冷，結果沒有嘗到。
上海有一半是一些比較老的區叫浦西，另一半是一些比較現代化的區叫浦東。那裡的建築物都是這幾年建立的。
除了南京路，我也去了淮海路、城隍廟、東方明珠、88號電視台（全世界第三高的建築物）等等上海著名的景區。
離開上海後，我們去了杭州。在到達杭州之前，我們參觀了一個離杭州不遠的小鎮，叫周庄。那兒非常美，那裡的中心有一條河，圍著河有很多小屋，好像義大利水鄉威尼斯。
